Forrest Dylan Bryant is a writer and broadcaster based in the San Francisco Bay Area. His news, review and feature writing has been featured in JazzTimes, Down Beat, All About Jazz, and other high-profile publications. He has also taken part in panel discussions at the Monterey Jazz Festival, Portland Jazz Festival and IAJE. Forrest is an active member of the Jazz Journalists Association and has served on the JJA’s board of directors since 2006.
Forrest’s radio program, “No Cover No Minimum,” has provided listeners with an eclectic, freewheeling mix of new and classic jazz, along with touches of blues, Americana and world roots music every week for more than twelve years on KZSU 90.1 FM, the Stanford University radio station. It can be heard every Friday morning from 6-9, Pacific Time.
