Forrest Dylan Bryant is an independent journalist and broadcaster based in the San Francisco Bay Area. A frequent contributor to JazzTimes and Downbeat magazines, Forrest is an active member of the Jazz Journalists Association and has served on the JJA’s board of directors since 2006. He is also art director of Jazz Notes, the JJA’s quarterly journal.

Forrest’s radio program, “No Cover No Minimum,” has surprised and delighted listeners since 1999 with an eclectic, freewheeling mix of new and classic jazz, blues, Americana and world roots music. The show can be heard Fridays from 6-9 a.m. (Pacific Time), on KZSU 90.1 FM, the Stanford University radio station.
